Job Vacancy - Gardner

The Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad is looking for a Gardener who is energetic, driven, and positive.

Main tasks and responsibilities as Gardener

  • Keep the garden (inside/ outside) of the premises in good shape
  • Irrigate the plants & green sites (outdoors and indoor plants)
  • To remove the weeds, dead trees, twigs or branches on a timely basis
  • To clean washrooms of: visa visitor’s reception, security guards & drivers
  • Clean the walkways, driveways and other adjacent areas of the embassy’s outside premises.
  • Responsible for procurement of gardening material
  • Keep the inventory of the gardening tools in good shape
  • Carries out any other task, when required by the management.

Qualifications required

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position in an international environment,
  • Good communication skills in Urdu, basic communication skills in English is a merit.
  • A self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Employment conditions

  • You will be offered full-time employment.
  • Six (06) month’s probation.
  • Your standard working hours will be 37 hours per week. Flexibility and work outside office hours and during weekends can be require, especially during summer.
  • Your salary will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience, and proven work-related results.
  • 28 days of annual vacation during a calendar year.
