Vacancy for Security Driver at the Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad.

A position as Security Driver at the Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad is currently vacant. The position is a full-time permanent employment with an initial six (6) months probation period. We are looking for someone who is energetic, driven, positive, professional and with good cooperation skills.

 Main tasks

The main duties consist of driving one of the Embassy cars (armored/ non-armored) and taking care of the maintenance of the allocated vehicle, under supervision of the Embassy administrative staff.

 Qualification required.

  • The Embassy is looking for a person with documented armoured security driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of vehicles including armoured vehicles (especially Toyota platforms)
  • A sound understanding of Islamabad and its vicinity road system.
  • Good communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure is required.
  • Previous security driving experience and knowledge of VIP protection tactics are relevant skills.

 Employment conditions

  • You will be offered full-time employment.
  • Six (06) months’ probation.
  • The position includes weekend and night duties according to a schedule.
  • Your salary will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience, and proven work-related results.
  • 28 days of annual vacation during a calendar year.
