For a month, we collected photos with Moldovan dads and their real-life stories. We accumulated over 60 stories and we chose 10 of them. Selected photos were printed and displayed in six villages, gathering parents, children, mayors, social workers, teachers, district police officers and priests.
(Text by UN Moldova)
We often found more women than men at the local debates. Men seemed a bit cold and distant at the beginning, but became more detached, recalling their personal relationship with their fathers, recalling moments when they took care of their newborns, bathing them, and then day by day discovering the world with them. And we’ve been inspired by their stories.
