Applications for residence and work permit
You that are a citizen of Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Hercegovina have until now turned to the Embassy in Belgrade and Sarajevo for applications for residence and work permit. From 3 February 2025 the Embassy in Belgrade and Sarajevo will no longer handle any migration related matters.
This means that when you have submitted your online application for residence and work permit after 3 February 2025 you should contact the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje, North Macedonia for interview, passport check, biometrics etcetera.
The same applies for you that are not a citizen of Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia & Hercegovina, but legally reside in one of the countries.

You who already have applied for residence and work permit and have a booked interview or are waiting for a residence permit card will still be able to do the interview or collect the residence permit card at the Embassy in Belgrade and Sarajevo.
