On November 6, the national pavilion of Sweden at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) was inaugurated by Sweden's Consul General in Shanghai, Lisette Lindahl as well as Vice President for Asia and the Pacific at Business Sweden Tobias Glitterstam. High level representatives from a large group of Swedish companies and of the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing were present.
The theme of the Swedish pavilion was "Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for the Next Generation of Travel and Transportation". The pavilion created in cooperation with 18 Swedish companies, Business Sweden, the Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish Institute.
An additional 17 Swedish companies had their own corporate pavilions at the fair.
Consul General Lisette Lindahl also participated in the inauguration of the showroom Nordic Hub and at the Sino-Nordic Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum, which was organized together with the Ministry of Commerce of China (Mofcom).
