"A Moon Wrapped in Brown Paper" - Prada Shanghai shows Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg

Two Swedish artists, Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg, are currently on display in Prada's premises in Villa Rong Zhai in the Jingan district of Shanghai.

The exhibition entitled "A Moon Wrapped in Brown Paper" describes dreamlike, animated worlds of objects, music and moving images of playfully told fables through video art, stop motion films and spatial installations.

Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg were both born in 1978 in Sweden and are active in the Nordic countries and Berlin, among other places. They both have a strong presence on the international art scene, and their work has been presented at venues such as the Venice Biennale, The New Museum in New York and some few years ago at the 21st Century Minsheng Art Museum here in Shanghai.

Prada Rong Zhai is a historic residence from 1918 located in the heart of Shanghai. The building was inaugurated in October 2017 after being reverently restored by the Prada Group.
