The Embassy of Sweden in Beijing is one of Sweden's largest foreign missions. Your workplace
The embassy's property management staff consists of one Swedish Technical Manager (diplomat), one locally employed Facility Technician and two Gardeners. The Embassy is now looking for an experienced, flexible, and dedicated gardener.

Main Tasks
Areas of responsibility will be according to the garden maintenance plan:

• Green lawn maintenance
• Digging and planting in the beds
• Trimming of the hedges
• Prune the trees
• Garden waste management
• Propagation of seasonal plants
• Operation and maintenance of gardening tools and implements

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience

• At least three years of relevant experience
• Creative, flexible, and capable of working independently and in a team
•  Good service and communication skills
• Able to work outdoors year around

Additional merits

• Knowledge of the English language
• Experience of working at an embassy

What we offer
This is a full time (39,45 hours per week) local position based at the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing. A six-month probation period will apply. Individual salary applies and other terms and conditions, too, will be discussed individually with successful candidates.
