Residence permit
The Embassy of Sweden to Iraq does not handle matters regarding residence permits.
To apply for a residence permit please contact the Embassy of Amman or Tehran.
Please note that the Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul do not accept application for residence permits from Iraqi citizens.
Work permit
You must have a work permit in order to work in Sweden.
The Embassy of Sweden to Iraq does not issue work permits. To apply for a work permit please contact the Swedish Embassy in Amman or Tehran.
