I am a Swedish citizen. Do I need a visa to visit Zambia?

Swedish passport holders do not require a visa to visit Zambia. Instead, you get an “entry visa stamp” on arrival which is valid for up to 30 days (check the date on the stamp).

If you intend to stay longer than 30 days, you need visit the Immigration office for extension of the validity of the “entry visa”. Passports must be valid for at least six months upon arrival and have at least three blank pages upon each entry.

Please note that information regarding Zambian requirements should always be confirmed by the relevant Zambian authority, such as the Zambia Department of Immigration or the Zambian Embassy in Stockholm or Zambian Immigration Department, as rules and regulations may change.

More info can be found on the following websites 🚩REVISED VISA RULES🚩 – Zambia Embassy and Zambia Department of Immigration (zambiaimmigration.gov.zm).
