Ambassador Helena Sångeland went to Qingdao for 2019 Gothia Cup China World Youth Football Tournament, which was planned to take place from 10th to 16th in Chengyang District of Qingdao City.
There, Ambassador’s presence was welcomed by local government and representatives from Gothia Cup China as well as by the founder of Gothia Cup Mr Dennis Andersson, although due to typhoon ‘Lekima’, the scheduled opening was cancelled with short notice when Ambassador Sångeland was in Qingdao.
The Swedish AIK female team players (agegroup 16 years) and their coach met with Ambassador Sångeland during practice on a football field in Qingdao, Gothia Cup. This was a the football field during the training was highly cherished by the team who has the players at the age of 16. China Film Group took pictures for a documentary about Gothia Cup China, while Ambassador Sångeland talked to the football team.
