The Embassy of Sweden in Tallinn is looking for a Promotion and Communications Assistant

We are looking for a new colleague, with knowledge and a keen interest in promotion and PR activities, and with a knowledge of the Baltic Sea Region. The position is temporary, starting with a year, but with a possibility of extension.

Estonia and Sweden are close neighbours with excellent bilateral ties and with close cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic context, and within the EU and other international fora. Exchanges and contacts between our countries are frequent and Swedish companies are major investors in Estonia.

Job description

• Assist in the planning and execution of projects and activities regarding Swedish culture, values, and Swedish business, in Tallinn and around Estonia in accordance with priorities
• Coordinate activities with Estonian and Swedish counterparts, other embassies and the Nordic Council of Ministers Office 
• Shape the Embassy’s social media presence in line with official guidelines
• Assume the role as the Embassy’s press and media contact point
• Other tasks to be added depending on experience and expertise

Qualifications

You possess a university degree, with some work experience in relevant fields. You are fluent in Estonian and English, you have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You are organized and creative, a team member, who takes initiatives and has good judgement.
