How can I get a visa to Sweden?
All ordinary visas, tourist and business, for Sweden are 'Schengen visas'. The Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi are handling applications for Schengen visas for residents in Zimbabwe.
- All applications for Schengen visas are to be submitted to VFS global in Harare, which is situated at celestial park on Borrowdale road, the offices are on the ground floor, block 6 - the second row of offices, opposite the celebration centre.
- Applicants can walk in and request the forms without an appointment, or an appointment can be made by contacting VFS on 0731 888 450.
- Applications cost 80 euro, plus a VFS administration fee.
- Once applications are submitted, they are sent to Nairobi for processing. travel time is 2 to 3 days, processing time is limited to 15 days in Nairobi, and then travel time back to Harare is 2 to 3 days.
- Replies will not take longer than 21 days.
