Changes regarding applications for work- and/or residence permit
From 1 October 2018 will it no longer be possible to hand in an application for work- and/or residence permit to the Honorary Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh-city. From 1 October 2018 the Consulate will no longer conduct interviews in applications for residence permit. The easiest way to apply for a residence permit is to apply online. An online application goes directly to the Swedish Migration Agency. If you apply online, you usually only need to visit the Embassy in Hanoi once for the interview and to give the biometrics for an eventual residence permit card. If you do not apply online, the application can be handed in to the Embassy in Hanoi.
