The Swedish Migration Agency introduces new rules for better passport checks for residence permit applicants.
Please note that as of November 1, 2022, the Migration Agency introduces a new rule for better passport checks. The Migration Agency will contact an applicant to schedule an appointment with the Embassy for passport and identity control. As soon as you have received the request from the Migration Agency, please email visa.washington@gov.se to schedule an appointment.
