Sweden warmly congratulates Mr. Antonio Vitorino on his new role as new Director General for IOM. We are convinced that Mr. Vitorino will do an excellent job in steering IOM as it takes on new responsibilities within the world of migration, and will be the person building on, and further expanding, the remarkable foundation established by Director General Swing during the past 10 years.
