We are now recruiting a PROJECT MANAGER, HEALTHCARE FOCUS  to the Trade Section. The Trade Section is operating under the auspices of the Embassy of Sweden in a separate Trade Promotion Office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

This role focuses on assisting Swedish companies to navigate and leverage opportunities in Ukraine’s healthcare landscape, ensuring compliance with local regulations and aligning with Sweden’s trade promotion objectives.

The role is working in close collaboration with team members and reporting to the Trade Commissioner of Sweden, Andreas Giallourakis.

Main tasks

  • Conduct market research, sales support analysis, stakeholder assessments, and operational reviews to identify opportunities for Swedish companies in Ukraine.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations that provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to create business proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met, and assist in coordinating team tasks.
  • Organize and participate in business events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote Swedish companies’ interests.

Required Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in consulting or business development, with expertise in healthcare.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with IFIs or experience working in an international environment.
  • Consulting experience with a focus on healthcare.

Terms of employment

The employment is a full-time position with 37,5 working hours per week from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be subject to a professional background check and satisfactory security clearance, with a probation period of three (3) calendar months. Staff recruited locally are subject to terms and conditions according to Ukrainian employment law and Swedish MFA guidance for local staff.
Benefits include twenty-eight vacation days, wellness grant, health insurance, the possibility to be eligible for Swedish pension after 5 years of working for the embassy and a “13th salary”. The physical office is separated from the Embassy Chancellery.
Start date will be according to agreement.
