Today the Embassy mourns the loss of our dear colleague Ulrika Lindberg Labasauskas who tragically lost her life in a road accident yesterday.
Ulrika was a wonderful friend and a highly appreciated diplomat dedicated to the protection of human rights, the promotion of gender equality and deepening of democracy, and she will for always be in our hearts.
Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
