New fees applies from 20th February 2025. The fees are in Uganda Shillings (UGX) and based on the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs' exchange rate of February 2025 , 1 SEK = 332,7877 UGX. Below are the most common current migration and consular fees at the Embassy of Sweden in Kampala.

All migration and consular fees for matters handled by the Embassy are to be paid to the Embassy account; 9030006358003, at any Stanbic Bank Branch. Payment slips are available at Stanbic Bank.
Each individual must fill out one payment slip where full name should be clearly stated.
Once a payment has been made the bank receipt is to be submitted at the Embassy together with the application.
