Ethical guidelines for the Consulate General's social media accounts

We always appreciate being in contact with the people who follow our social media accounts, and welcome both those who leave positive and critical comments.

However please remember it is not allowed to publish comments:

• which do not stay on the topic of the original post
• that contain marketing or spam
• which are degrading, contain rude language or do not follow a good civil tone
• which involve incitement or hate speech, constitute infringements of copyrights or in any other way break Swedish laws.

As we moderate our social media commentaries, comments as described above can be unpublished. People who continue to break the rules can be shut off from our social media channels.
