State Secretary Lars-Olof Lind participates in the 18th Shangri La Dialogue
On May 31 – June 2 the 18th edition of the Shangri La Dialogue was held in Singapore. The Shangri La Dialogue has grown to become one of the major security policy conferences globally and this year it attracted no less than 27 defence ministers, among them the ministers from US, China, UK, France, Australia, Korea and Japan. Sweden was represented by Mr Jan-Olof Lind, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence. Mr Lind participated in a panel discussion on the topic “Defence-Industrial Development: Balancing Self-Reliance and Collaboration” and he also held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the conference.
