In mid-January the Swedish choreographer and former principle dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet, Mr Pär Isberg visited Singapore.
The Embassy had invited him as part of the Ingmar Bergman Centenary for the screening of the contemporary dance film ‘Bergman - through the choreographer's eye' in an event jointly organized by the Embassy and Singapore Dance Theatre who’s Artistic Director is the Swede Janek Schergen. The film is an interpretation of Ingmar Bergman through dance, created by Pär Isberg, Alexander Ekman, Pontus Lidberg, and Joakim Stephenson. Mr Isberg also participated in a screening of the film for dance students at LASALLE College of the Arts.
