A visa is required to visit Sweden for Rwandan citizens.

TLS in Kigali will from 2nd of May resume visa applications to Schengen and Sweden. Appointments can be made on TLS in Kigali's webpage: TLScontact.

The application will be processed by the Belgian Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. 

For travels before 2nd of May, please book an appointment at VFS application Centre in Kampala or Nairobi (Welcome to VFS Global | For Individuals | Home).

Applications and interviews for residence, student and/or work permits are handled by the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, or in Kampala, Uganda.

Appointments are applied for all visits/cases. To book an appointment for an interview and/or submission of the application and for other questions, primarily send an e-mail to ambassaden.nairobi-visum@gov.se or ambassaden.kampala-migration@gov.se
