The Embassy of Sweden has approved and signed grant agreement of 56.5 million SEK with TechnoServe to fund women economic empowerment programme called Women IN Business (WIN) for the period 2019-2022.
WIN programme aims to support for women and young people by improving their opportunities to start and run commercial businesses. The programme will be identifying, catalysing and scaling up systemic solutions for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) mostly the managed or owned by women.
WIN programme is anchored in the spirit of the cooperation strategy between Sweden and Mozambique for 2015-2020 which aims to improve opportunities for people living in poverty to contribute to and benefit from economic and democratic development.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
