Opening hours

The Embassy opening hours and consular service are Monday to Friday 09.00-12.00. Please note that the Embassy is open to the public by appointment only.

The consular service includes for example Swedish passports, ID and driver’s licence pick up, life certificates, legalisations, coordination number applications or general questions.

Please note that migration related issues is not included, for example residence permits.

Consular emergency situation

In case of an urgent consular situation contact us by phone. If outside of office hours, please call us by phone and follow instructions, or contact directly the Consular department at the Foreign ministry in Stockholm, +46 8 405 5005.  

Migration related questions

Contact us on migration.maputo@gov.se. We receive visitors after appointment, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. 

Migrationsrelated issues are for example residence permits, visas etc. 

If you want to apply for a Schengenvisa, please contact the French embassy in Maputo.
