During his stay, the Minister will attend the industrial fair FoodEx and meet with Japan’s State Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Mr. Suzuki Norikazu.
In addition, Minister Kullgren will meet with Swedish and Japanese companies, as well as undertake a study visit to Chiba University’s research facilities with new agricultural technologies. The purpose of the visit is to promote Swedish food exports to Japan.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
