The Summit is part of the Swedish-Japanese sustainability collaboration platform “Pioneer the possible”, which gathers Swedish and Japanese stakeholders to jointly address sustainability challenges
The Summit is organized by Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo and gathers forward-thinking – pioneering – Swedish and Japanese companies at the highest level, government representatives, startups, NGO’s and opinion leaders with the aim of speeding up Japan’s green transition together. This year’s Summit will be focused on two themes – Mobility and Circularity. There will be inspirational and informative keynote presentations and a panel discussion on topics such as industry roadmaps, financing the green transition and new technologies. A major part of the summit will be dedicated to cross-sectoral break-out sessions aimed at finding solutions to concrete challenges that have been defined in each theme, such as developing the EV charging infrastructure and boosting the recycling of paper based packaging in Japan.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
