Accept all Only criticalOn 4-7 March 2019, Sweden’s Minister for Rural Affairs Jennie Nilsson will visit Japan.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the 44th International Food and Beverage Exhibition, the Foodex Japan, and to gain knowledge and experience about Japanese food industry. Minister Nilsson will head the Swedish Delegation to Foodex and will inaugurate the opening of the Sweden Pavilion. The Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo in cooperation with Business Sweden will be representing Sweden together with six companies at Foodex.
Minister Nilsson will have a bilateral meeting with Japan’s Minister for Regional Revitalization and Gender Equality, Satsuki Katayama; Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food Safety and Ocean Policy, Mitsuhori Miyakoshi and the State Minister for Agriculture, Foresty, and Fisheries, Shuichi Takatori. Minister Nilsson will also meet Japanese industry organizations, Swedish company representatives in Japan and conduct a study visit to TetraPak converting factory in Gotemba.
