The Embassy of Sweden in Tel Aviv is looking for a driver.

General
The position is full-time employment with a probationary period of six months. Starting date is 1 September 2024.
We are looking for someone who is efficient, able to take initiatives and can work independently, but also a good team player. It is important that you are safe and reliable, that you have a good driving record, and that you are service minded.
We place great importance on attitude and personal competencies.
The employment follows the Embassy´s terms and condition for employment of local staff.


Tasks
Your main duties will be
- Driving Ambassador and other Embassy personnel with one of the official vehicles of the Embassy
- Driving in safe and timely manner, and using navigation apps to determine the best routes
- Ensuring that the official vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Assisting with post and banking matters, incl. getting the Embassy´s post at MFA of Israel
- Assisting with matters regarding protocol, custom authorities and other public and private offices.
- Purchases for the Embassy according to the Embassy´s written routines for purchases and payments.
- Assisting with any other administrative issue assigned by the Head of the Administration of the Embassy.


Qualification and Experience
- High- school diploma
- Valid driving license B (ordinary vehicle) and C1 (armored vehicle)
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Minimum three years of experience as driver

- Spoken and written English and Hebrew
- Efficient, productive, and methodical
- A self-starter, pro-active and able to prioritize
- Team player
- Some computer skills
- Willingness and ability to learn and develop
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Flexibility to work under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands


Salary
Salary will be based on the scale for local personnel at the Swedish Embassy
in Israel. Embassy of Sweden is an equal opportunity employer.
