On 19 november, Ambassador Mattias Lentz presented his diplomatic credentials to the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani.

The Ambassador and the President discussed the strong bilateral ties between Sweden and Iran, a result of a long history of trade ties and people-to-people exchanges. Ambassador Lentz underlined Sweden's support for the continuance of the JCPOA.
