As of April 1, 2025, the Consulate General in Mumbai will no longer be handing out residence permit cards (UT cards). For questions regarding residence and work permits, applicants are referred to other Swedish missions in the region. For visas, please contact the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
