Greek alumni to Sweden met at the residence for another successful networking event
The embassy arranged a yearly alumni-event on 10th of December with Greeks who have studied at Swedish secondary schools. The theme of the evening was Alfred Nobel, whose day coincided with the event. This was also the theme of ambassador Sammelin’s speech. 10th of December also marks the 70-year anniversary of the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It was a successful evening with more alumni attending than ever before and the embassy looks forward to further events, promoting the relations between Sweden and Greece.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
