Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Athens. The embassy's task is to represent Sweden and the Swedish government in Greece and to promote Sweden's interests.
We work with political and economic reporting, press and information, administration and consular affairs. The embassy cooperates with Business Sweden, Swedish institute at Athens, Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Swedish Church.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
