Please ask them to send the card to our Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia.

After getting married, send in a certified copy (translated to english and legalised by notary) of the marriage certificate to the Swedish Tax Agency.

Book an appointment at the embassy where you will fill in a document and also bring personbevis/utdrag ur folkbokföringen that proves that you are not previously married and that you are not registered in sweden.

When you bring in the documents we will create a “Marriage License” that states that according to Swedish law you are allowed to get married before a foreign authority. The document of “hindersprövning/marriage certificate” is valid for 4 months and costs 200SEK at the embassy.
