Can I apply for, or renew a Swedish passport/ID-card at the Embassy?

The Embassy does not issue ordinary passports, temorary passports or ID cards. To apply for these, please contact the Swedish Police by telephone +46 77 114 14 00 or visit their website.

New passports and national ID cards can be picked up at the Embassy or the Swedish Consulates in Denmark. Passports can be picked up at the Embassy at a fee of 140 DKK. If you wish your passport to be sent to a Swedish Consulate, there will be an additional fee for certified mail and you will pay in all 285 DKK. Please contact the consulate for opening hours and information about holiday closing periods.
