VACANCY: Assistant to the Migration Section

Main tasks

• receive and register applications for visas and residence/work permits
• conduct interviews in residence/work permit applications in Chinese or English
• answer inquiries by telephone/e-mail
• filing and other administrative work
• handle any other duty that might be assigned by the head of the section
  
  

Professional and personal qualifications

• experience in administrative work and prior experience from public service
• excellent written and spoken Chinese and English
• accurate, cooperative, and service minded
• good computer literacy
• ability in handling fluctuating workloads in sometimes stressful situations
• university degree is preferred
• knowledge of the Swedish language and culture is considered as an asset but is not a pre-requisite for the position
  
  

What we offer

The position is a local, full time, temporary employment with the Consulate for one year starting from January 2022. Individual salary applies and the terms and conditions of the employment will be discussed individually with successful candidates.
