On 17 November the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai together with Business Sweden and a delegation of Swedish companies visited Wuxi.
In order to participate in the Fourteenth Chinese Renewable Energy Conference (CREC) on November 17. In the afternoon, the delegation met with representatives of the State Grid and Jiangsu Energy Exchange Center to discuss the green energy policy and explore the availability of green electricity in Jiangsu.
On 18 November the Consulate General participated in the 30th Anniversary of the Wuxi National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in the presence of both the Mayor and Party Secretary of Wuxi. The industrial zone is known for having been an important location for the early investments of many leading Swedish companies including AstraZeneca, Atlas Copco, Sandvik, Kongsberg Automotive and Trelleborg Group.
