On 17 December, during the UN Biodiversity Conference COP15 in Montreal, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai screened the documentary film About the Forest (Om Skogen) at INLET Shanghai, directed by Swedish filmmaker Peter Magnusson.
Swedish forest biologist Sebastian Kirppu, who played a role in the film,and Jojo Zheng Yangjie, founder of the organization Good to Nature shared their experience and knowledge about forest ecological restoration and protection in Sweden and China. In total around 50 participants joined this film screening, and an additional 100 saw the film as an installation.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
