To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce organized a breakfast talk in Shanghai on March 7. The Consul General of Sweden in Shanghai, Ms Lisette Lindahl, gave a speech at the event.
The theme of the event is how females manage their career and work-life balance. Ms Lindahl shared with the audience her experience of working abroad at Swedish foreign missions and some personal thoughts. Head of Regions and Payment Solutions of Atlas Copco Financial Solutions, and Ms Caroline Xue, Managing Director of Marja Kurki China Operation, also talked about their inspiring career paths. The interaction between the audience and the speakers was very active, which led to a lot of interesting discussions.
Sweden’s feminist government aims to ensure that women and men have the same power to shape society and their own lives. This is also essential for the achievement of any other goals.
