On September 24, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai and Sweden Alumni Network in China (SANC) Shanghai Chapter arranged an event on how jobseekers with an academic background in Sweden can maximize potential in the Chinese labour market. Consul General Marie-Claire Swärd Capra delivered welcoming remarks.
At the event, representatives from the Sweden Alumni Network in China and Swedish companies discussed topics such as the current employment environment in China, Swedish companies' priorities when hiring and Swedish corporate culture. Nearly 50 alumni and guests participated in the event.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
