Kinesiska myndigheter brukar kräva att utdraget har försetts med Apostillestämpel. När du har ett registerutdrag från Polisen, besök eller posta handlingen till en Notarius Publicus i Sverige. UD eller svenska ambassader/generalkonsulat utfärdar inte apostille. Det är endast Notarius Publicus rätt att utfärda apostille i Sverige.
Generalkonsulatet kan inte intyga uppgifterna i, eller legalisera eller apostillestämpla registerutdraget, detta måste göras i Sverige.
