This year’s survey offers unique insights into the experiences of Swedish companies in China and contrasts their challenges with the increasingly firm commitment that they have towards the vibrant Chinese market.
Since the year 2000, the survey has been recording the vital signs of the Swedish business community in China and providing insights into the health of the Sino-Swedish economic relationship through the publication of the survey’s results.
The Business Climate Survey for Swedish Companies in China 2019 is a joint initiative by the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai, Business Sweden and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China - all of which are members of Team Sweden in China.

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
