Ambassadör Per Augustsson överlämnade fredagen den 18 augusti 2023 en kopia av sina kreditivbrev till generaldirektören för protokollavdelningen vid det kinesiska utrikesministeriet, Hong Lei.
Augustsson, som tillträdde tjänsten den 15 augusti, har tidigare varit generalkonsul i Hongkong samt även tjänstgjort vid ambassaderna i Peking, London, Zagreb och vid FN-representationen i New York.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
