The Embassy of Sweden in Beijing is one of Sweden's largest foreign missions. The areas of work include political and economic monitoring and reporting, trade promotion, science and innovation, forestry and agriculture, energy issues, defense cooperation, customs cooperation, public diplomacy and communications as well as administrative and consular matters. At the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, we value differences, promote gender equality and oppose discrimination to better enhance the organization's skills.

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
