Sweden-supported ArtNexus programme launched its first dialogue-meeting titled “How to promote the creative sector of Armenia and support art and culture practitioners".
ArtNexus is a Swedish initiative, from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, aimed at increasing the cooperation between Armenia and Sweden in the fields of art and culture, contributing to the formation and expansion of further contacts and partnerships. It aims at capacity-building, promoting artistic freedom, as well as developing and the strengthening of democratic processes.
Ambassador Patrik Svensson joined the event to congratulate both the Armenian and Swedish colleagues for the good start and expressed his hope that the program will serve its cause and bring more responsibility and advanced conditions for cultural practitioners.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Artur Martirosyan, Program Manager of ArtNexus, Liv Weisberg, Program Coordinator of ArtNexus, Niusha Khanmohammadi, members of Yerevan Municipality and many cultural practitioners.
