Apply for a Visa

From 1st September 2024 the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi handles all short-stay visa applications from citizens and persons legally residing in Uganda.

In order to visit Sweden, citizens and persons legally residing in Uganda need an entry visa. 

Sweden Visa Application Center/ Uganda

Schengen visa applications to Sweden from residents in Uganda can be submitted at VFS Global's Application Centre in Kampala as of 2nd September, 2024. If you want to book an appointment kindly contact VFS they handle the appointment booking system, and you can track your application through their portal here.

Note that the Embassy of Sweden in Kampala is not involved in the visa application process.
