Fees

You pay a fee for your visa application. Payment of the visa fee does not give any guarantee or right that a visa will be granted. The visa fee is non-refundable if the visa application is denied or if the applicant decides to withdraw his or her application.

Fee for visa application

The below mentioned fees will be valid as of 11th of June 2024.
Adults:
90 EUR
Children aged 0 - 5: Fee exempted
Children aged 6-12: 45 EUR

Outsourcing company, VFS Global, charges a fee of 10 EUR per application, in addition to the above fee for the visa. 

How to pay

You pay the VFS service fee online, when you book the appointment.

You pay the application fee in cash when you submit the application.

Fee exemptions

The following pay no fee:

  • Children between 0 and 5 years of age are exempt of visa fees. They are however paying VFS service fee as anyone else.
  • School pupils, students, research students and accompanying teachers on study or training trips.
  • Third-country researchers travelling for the purpose of pursuing scientific research.
  • Representatives of non-governmental organisations who are aged 25 or under, who take part in seminars, conferences, sports events, cultural events or educational events organised by NGOs.
  • Family members of EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland citizens who are residing in Sweden/intending to settle in Sweden. Read more about which individuals are counted as family members on the Swedish Migration Agency website. Relatives of Swedish citizens have to pay a fee for visa applications.

Citizens of countries that have signed visa facilitation agreements with the EU pay a reduced fee: 35 EUR. This applies to citizens of:
- Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cape Verde, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine

Visits longer than 90 days

D-visa Adults and children: 60 EUR 

Residence permits for visit: Adults: 5000 TL  Children under 18: 2500 TL
