Apply for a residence permit

Persons residing in Rwanda who wish to apply for residence permit in Sweden are referred to the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi or Kampala.

Applications and interviews for residence, student and/or work permits are handled by the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, or in Kampala, Uganda.

Appointments are applied for all visits/cases. To book an appointment for an interview and/or submission of the application and for other questions, primarily send an e-mail to ambassaden.nairobi-visum@gov.se or ambassaden.kampala-migration@gov.se
