The quickest and easiest way to apply for a residence permit is to apply online. An online application goes directly to the Swedish Migration Agency and is given priority. It is possible to submit an application and documents in paper at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. Priorly you have to make an appointment, tel.: +7 495 937 92 01 (during the phone hours). The number of appointments to submit a paper application directly at the Embassy is limited. We therefore recommend you proceed with your application electronically.
How to proceed:
If you do not attend the interview or do not inform the Embassy that you are unable to come, your case will nevertheless be sent to the Swedish Migration Agency, and your application may be rejected.
5. After the interview, your case will be transferred to the Migration Agency in Sweden for consideration.
6.Wait for the decision. When the Swedish Migration Agency has made a decision in your case, you will be informed of this by e-mail.
7. Wait for the residence permit card. If you are granted a residence permit, you will be issued with a residence permit card. It is possible to pick up the card at the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow between 09.00 to 11.00 from Monday to Friday. You must bring your passport with you.
