Applying via VFS Global in Abuja or in Lagos

If you choose this option you shall not present yourself at the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja nor pay any fees to the Embassy.

Applying via the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja
If you do not wish to apply via the Swedish Application Centre in Abuja or in Lagos, you must then present your application forms and other documents in person at the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja. This option may not be as quick as applying via Swedish Visa Application Centre. You must make an appointment prior to going to the Embassy.
How to proceed:
1. Prepare the documentation

2. Make an appointment
To make an appointment at the Embassy of Sweden, please send us an email: migration.abuja@gov.se or call us +234 9 9047 317 (telephone hours Monday-Friday 09:00-10:30).
3. Visit the Embassy
At the appointed time, bring the completed application form, all the required documents, and a receipt of pre-payment to the Embassy (for information about the Embassy bank account number please contact ambassaden.abuja@gov.se). If you do not have all the documents with you, there is a risk that your application will be rejected.
