Malaysian citizens do not need visas for short term visits to Sweden, i.e not longer than 90 days. The Embassy of Sweden in Kuala Lumpur does not have a migration section and does not handle migration related issues - visas or other permits - for travellers from Malaysia to Sweden. The Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok is responsible for these matters.

Should you need further assistance regarding an application for Schengen visa or Residence or Work Permit, please contact the Migration Section at the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok.
